My dear girl,

Do you honestly think this is a wise idea?  You have, on several occasions, said that my nemesis comes easier to you than any of my incarnations- which, frankly, is a worrying trend I should recommend examining further.  Any proclivity towards that sort of thing can hardly be healthy, even if it is second hand.  Of course, I must commend you on your fine taste in selecting me, of all the various mes gadding about time and space.  I've a certain je ne sais quoi in this incarnation, I know you'll agree; a keen intellect, a particular propensity for the prolix and poetic- and I am not pedantic, I don't care what Peri says.  She's American, I hardly think she can be consulted on matters linguistic.

My point being- do you really think you're up to the challenge?  Wouldn't someone like my predecessor be a little, oh, I don't know, easier?  All that bland charm, anyone could do that.  Me, well, I'm quite another story.
